I would like to clarify that this document was created by me and saved on the office computer a month ago, where everyone within the team has access for. I sent it to my personal email solely for the purpose of connecting with clients via LinkedIn, and not for any misuse. (…)’.
‘(…) The reason for this summary dismissal is, (…) that is has recently come to our attention that you sent a portfolio list containing 23 pages of highly sensitive customer data to your private email address (…) on 7 April 2025. When asked, you confirmed the facts stated by us and gave the following explanation for your conduct. You stated that you collected the list of customer data to use to make connections with these customers on LinkedIn via your private account. You mentioned that you were not aware that this customer data could not be disclosed or shared outside of Hilton and that you were allowed to make copies of such information for private purposes. When we referred to the Code of Conduct you confirmed that you indeed have signed for the content and thus aware of the content and consequences of breaching the code. (…)’
