providing access to each of the at least three compartments, the door elements (17) taking up substantially the entire width and height of a front wall part, characterised in that
the unit comprises a reducing system for reducing the distance between the bottom (11) and the roof element (13) for the purpose of thus moving the unit (1) from a position of use to a reduced state, wherein the reducing system comprises the circumferential wall (12, 14), wherein the circumferential wall comprises at least one wall part (14) having at least two substantially rectangular wall elements (14b, 14c) which are placed one above the other, seen in a direction from the bottom to the roof element (13), wherein the two wall elements (14b, 14c) are pivotally interconnected, wherein at least one of the wall elements is pivotable about a pivot axis which extends parallel to the plane formed by the bottom, and wherein the pivotable wall element is placed adjacent to the roof element, being pivotally connected thereto.
2. A unit according to claim 1, wherein the roof element (13) undergoes a translating movement in a direction parallel to the plane formed by the bottom (11) upon movement from the position of use to the reduced state.
3. A unit according to anyone of the preceding claims, wherein the unit comprises front and rear corner pillars (52, 53) disposed at corner points of the bottom, on which corner pillars a frame of a further unit can be placed, wherein a stacking aid (55), such as a tapered guide, is provided on the corner pillars (52, 53), on which stacking aids a frame of a further unit can be placed.
4. A unit according to claim 3, wherein the roof element (13) fits exactly between a front corner pillar (52) and a rear corner pillar (53) in the reduced state.
5. A unit according to anyone of the preceding claims, wherein the at least one wall part comprises at least three substantially rectangular wall elements which are disposed one on top of the other, seen in the direction from the bottom to the roof element, wherein at least two adjacent interconnected wall elements of the wall part in question are pivotable about pivot axes that extend parallel to the plane formed by the bottom, preferably wherein the at least one wall part comprises a bottom wall element which is disposed adjacent to the bottom and which is substantially fixedly connected thereto, wherein a proportion between the height of the bottom wall element and the height of the wall part ranges between 1/5 and 3/5, preferably equalling about 1/3.
6. A unit according to anyone of the preceding claims, wherein the circumferential wall comprises a rear wall part and two side wall parts disposed opposite each other, and wherein the rear wall parts comprises the pivotable wall element.
7. A unit according to claim 6, wherein the pivotable wall element is disposed adjacent to the roof element, being pivotally connected thereto about a further pivot axis, and wherein the roof element and the pivotable wall element are disposed substantially parallel to each other in a reduced state of the unit, and preferably wherein the roof element and the pivotable wall element are disposed parallel to the bottom in a reduced state of the unit.
8. A unit according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein a proportion between the height of the pivotable wall element and the height of the wall part ranges between 1/5 and 3/5, preferably equalling about 1/3.
9. A unit according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the circumferential wall comprises a further wall part provided with at least two substantially rectangular connectable wall elements which are detachably connected, wherein sides arranged adjacent to each other of the connectable wall elements placed one on top of the other extend substantially parallel to the plane formed by the bottom.
